Ficker / Summers Reception | St Albans Country Club | Millennium Music & Millennium Video
May 15th brought the wedding celebration of two of the nicest and most fun people I've gotten to work with in some time: Darren and Kristy Summers at the awesome St Albans Country Club. They and their family and friends were super friendly, easy-going, and best of all, big dancers! Rick Dilly from Millennium Video got to spend even more time with them as he filmed for several days up to and including the wedding day to get all of the wonderful footage needed for the Millennium Video Artistic Package (check out the teaser video here).
Bill from Trotter Photo was great to work with as always, and he had plenty of packed dance floor shot opportunities. Even after the event was over the hospitality and friendliness continued when Kristy's father, Rick, invited me into his home for the small family after-party with Darren and Kristy, complete with pizzas from St Albans restaurant. In all, a memorable time was had by all, and my only regret is that I won't get to host their wedding again: I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Anniversary parties!

Riordan / Pomeroy Wedding| Foundry Art Center | Millennium Music & Millennium Video
One of our hottest packages right now is our "Same Day Edit" add-on. This is where we take some preshot footage and incorporate it into footage from the preparations and ceremony. We then do a fast edit highlight reel to show at the reception.
In the case of Caty and Andy we decided to push the envelope and take a film crew into Six Flags! We followed the bride and groom around the park filming what seemed to be a short movie (we even got footage of them riding The Boss).
On the day of the wedding, Tony and Dan with Millennium Video shot a lot of great preparation and ceremony footage to include in the same day edit.
The reception was held at the beautiful Foundry Art Centre in historic downtown St. Charles. After Dinner, Host/DJ Rick Dilly with Millennium Music introduced the video presentation, as Caty and Andy were brought to the center dance floor to watch the same day edit highlight video with their guests. The results were emotionally overwhelming. The bride teared up as the video concluded, followed by a huge applause from the guests, which led into the couple's first dance. It was the perfect addition to an already perfect wedding. You are able to view this video at the Millennium Video website.

Luedde / Givens Reception | Moulin Event Space | Millennium Design & Millennium Music
You would not think that you could make the event space at Moulin more beautiful than it already is, though our design staff on this event sought the impossible. The bride and groom, along with their event designer form New York had a vision that was simply breathtaking (Millennium just added a few essentials to help it all come together).
With white drape creating a wall between the cocktail space and reception and uplights around the room to compliment the colors of the centerpieces; this was a beautifully-designed party that those involved will not soon forget.
The bride's eyes filled up with tears when she entered the room. This is the best compliment anyone could ever ask for. Thank you to everyone on this event that helped make this a special one.
